About Y. T.

 Y.T. Christian Academy is at the forefront of expanding on what makes great teachers effective, by allowing the teacher to have more flexibility and creativity in their teaching. Giving teachers the ability to assess each student's individual needs and respond to those needs accordingly, is what sets our program apart.  Our teachers are allowed this creative flexibility while maintaining the A Beka Book and N.C. Standard Course of Study curriculum as a guide tool, and not a forced academic implementation.  Let's just be honest, not every student is on the same level; however, if you allow the teachers to construct a classroom environment enabling each child to move at his or her own pace, this will enable the student to gain confidence and react with an attitude of independence, and moving closer towards work completion through self-motivation.    

Each child is capable of achieving great things, it just takes the right circumstances and learning environment to bring it out. Y.T. Christian Academy has the tools, all we need are the students and supportive parents.
